Specialized Equipment LLC, a proud Distributor of Electro Freeze specialty refrigeration units, is a privately owned company celebrating our 30th year in business. We are seeking to expand with a career focused person(s) to install, maintain, and repair soft serve ice cream and related equipment in customer's locations. Experienced and qualified individuals are encouraged to apply and join our team!


In field service for start up, training, and repairs on Electro Freeze ice cream and related restaurant equipment in customer's locations. Daily travel is required within Upstate NY with no overnight travel. Rotating weekends for on call service. In shop re-conditioning of equipment and related shop duties. Care and maintenance of company vehicle and inventory. Fulfill customer parts orders. Completing work orders, time/mileage tracking, and warranty paperwork.

Requirements:

  •    High School diploma desired.
  •     Valid NYS Driver's License
  •     1+ year of HVAC/Refrigeration experience and/or 1 year Appliance repair experience.
  •     1+ year Customer Service experience desired.
  •     Technical and mechanical ability required.
  •     Experience in low temperature refrigeration with R404a, as well as working knowledge of mechanical and digital control circuits is highly desirable.
  •     EPA certification desired.
  •     Field Service Technician and Customer Service experience desired.
