Why Us?

Specialized Equipment LLC is a proud distributor of Electro Freeze® soft serve ice cream and related equipment, and we are celebrating our 32nd anniversary in 2026. With over 45 years of experience in the ice cream industry, Jerry Browning began Specialized Equipment in 1994, providing sales and service to our valued customers. In 1997, Specialized Equipment became the chosen dealer for Electro Freeze® Tri-State for the Upstate New York market. In 2006, we grew to become one of three Authorized Distributors for Electro Freeze® for New York, taking over the Upstate/Central New York region. In 2008, we expanded and tripled our territory to include the Rochester and Buffalo regions, now becoming one of two distributors for Electro Freeze® for New York state.
